I have been in New Zealand for 10 months now and being a Foodie in the Philippines I am always in search of a good restaurant with authentic dishes that can not only tickle your tummy but also your heart ❤️.

I have tried different restaurants with friends but this is the 1st time that I finally decided to feature one in my blog. I guess I am not too lazy busy right now. 😅

Last month my friends and I decided to eat out and celebrate our birthdays. We chose Seoul Night Restaurant. At first I thought we’ll have a samgyup night because of its name and to be honest, I wasn’t excited because I am not a big fan of samgyup nowadays, (aging problem! 😅) sorry girls if you’re reading this, but ofcourse I was excited to celebrate with them anywhere!

Seoul Night is a Korean Dining Bar located in Fort Street at the Heart of the City. It’s the new hidden gem in the city and so glad we found it! It’s not a samgyup Korean resto, but for me, it’s better than that!

Behind this vending machine inspired door is a place where you can chill and drink your Seoul out with Korean’s famous dishes!

Check out it’s interior with dazzling neon lights that will make you feel like you’re in Seoul St., Korea!

Food that we tried:

Kimchi Fried Rice 23NZD

Not just your ordinary kimchi rice! It has a tangy and slightly spicy taste with chopped pork belly and egg swirl on top.

Pork Rib 35NZD

We all love this mouthwatering baby backribs with sweet and smoky flavor on top of mashed potatoes with grated carrot and cabbage salad on the side.

Korean Grilled Pork 28NZD

You’ll definitely love this grilled pork packed with spicy and savory flavor topped with mushroom, cabbage, onion and sesame seeds!

OG Fried Chicken 24NZD

A must-try chicken nibbles! The best chicken I’ve tried so far here in the city!

Soju Sangria 32NZD

Don’t forget to pair your meal with cold and refreshing sangria! We tried their Seasonal Water Melon Blush and it was indeed a perfect summer refresher!

My Verdict:
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ambiance is good but I find it too dark for me, sorry it’s just me ✌️. The servers were accomodating and will attend to your needs immediately but they are always inside when we need them so we had to go to the counter to approach them. But I will definitely recommend this place! A place where you could enjoy and chill your heart out with friends especially after a long day at work.
