Being a mother is a million different things—it comes in various forms and every motherhood journey is diversely unique from one another. It is not easy, it’s scary and exciting and stressful and fun all at the same time. As Linda Wooten would say, “Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had, and dealing with fears you didn’t know existed.”
This Mother’s Day, Tea Talk took the opportunity to express gratitude and admiration to all the amazing moms who never fail to provide nurture, sacrifice, and unconditional love to us. As a brand who aims to encourage meaningful and fun moments with family and friends, especially in this time of pandemic, Tea Talk shared its signature drinks and beverages to its mommy media friends, including me!
Asking the question: What are the things you like about being a mother?
This is my answer:
Being a mom made me realize my life’s purpose, and that is to love my children unconditionally. It also made me appreciate my mom even more. I now understand the sacrifices she made for us and how strong she is because she made motherhood looks so easy. I don’t remember her being so tired and frustrated. I hope my kids won’t remember my tired face too when they grow up 😅. Motherhood is not easy and I am grateful that I still have my Mom to guide me.
